Your Session
Whether you’re looking for a simple studio shoot or a four-season production, we can customize a session to be exactly what you need. During your session, our photographer, Dan, will bring out your best using light, angles and humor to create images you’re guaranteed to love. Afterwards, you’ll receive access to a private gallery where you will select your favorite captures for retouching and delivery. Each of our sessions includes a set of professionally retouched, ready-to-share digital images. Once your edits are complete, you’ll also be able to order archival prints and products with us. No sneaky up-sells, just beautiful custom artwork at your convenience.

Creative Composites
Let us create a custom piece of Photoshop artwork to showcase your passion! Pitch us your best idea and Dan will bring it to life with the same production treatments he uses for major brands and professional athletes. Creative Composites can be added to any session and must be planned in advance.

The Photographer
Dan McClanahan is a rad dad, punk rock drummer, and self-inflicted coffee addict.
He’s splits his time between creating portraits in Ankeny and photographing advertising projects across the USA.
His goal as an artist is to dignify the inner-awesome of every subject.
Dan has represented Team USA in the World Photographic Cup three times with his personal artwork.
